I honestly have a very small suspicion Robin is playing on the field of homo home-runners, but that was a passing fancy. I think the trauma of losing his very best friend really did a number on him. Hell, let's stack up the items in his emotional baggage:

He's support for the Dark Knight (the THIRD Robin)
His father was murdered last year
His girlfriend is dead after trying on the mantle of Robin
Pressure from Young Justice to government agent to Teen Titans (yikes -- not old enough to drink and already got a lot of responsibilities).
His best friend was a clone of the world's greatest hero and the world's greatest villain
He just spent a year training with Bruce (details still yet unkown)

Tim's costume change indicates something life-changing. Kinda like a break up... Usually women cut their hair, or guys drink themselves silly or put on extra pounds. Tim just chose to actually bring back his best friend and NOT share this with anyone. Um, I think the poor kid is going off the deep end soon. I'm worried about the boy.
